Making your own wedding desserts is a great way to save money. Desserts are notoriously expensive. I spent more on my desserts (excluding the cake) than I did on the entire dinner! You don’t have to be a master baker to engineer a spectacular dessert table. Just give yourself plenty of time to experiment with recipes. I made a recipe a week starting a few months before the wedding. I shared my creations with friends and family and paid close attention to reactions.
